The main aim of the faculty is to train high-quality specialists capable to solve complex tasks and problems related to public health, disease prevention, diagnosis, and human diseases treatment. The program is designed to form the professional competencies of future doctors by combining theoretical and practical pieces of training and principles of science-based medical practice in the healthcare field.<\/p>\n
This program is implemented in the study of disciplines in English and Ukrainian by the involvement of practicing specialists of the field to guide clinical practice and to conduct practical classes of disciplines of the classes.<\/p>\n
The goal of the educational program is focused on training competitive specialists in the field of medicine, who are able to cope with medical activities of different kinds, solve complex tasks and problems, deal with diagnosis and treatment, use the knowledge of the biological, social, and psychological fields. Put methods based on knowledge of the functions of organs and organ systems into practice. Gain the knowledge of the impact of the ecosystem on the health of the population.<\/p>\n

Practical training is an important component of training a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.<\/p>\n
The knowledge and skills obtained during the studying at clinical and theoretical departments are used by the students during practical training, which takes place in the winter and the summer. The bases of the training are over 200 most powerful medical preventive establishments and institutions in Kyiv, such as Stomatological medical center, 10 sanitary epidemic stations, 4 pharmaceutical plants, 7 pharmaceutical unions.<\/p>\n
the Internships Programs help students with orienting in clinical situations, the establishment of correct diagnosis, prescription of the corresponding treatment, rendering the first aid, collecting the medicines due to the individual prescription, developing the knowledge of clinical pharmacy, chemist\u2019s and industrial technology for production of drugs. The practical training helps the students adapt to the future working place. There are positions that can be held during internships:<\/p>\n
