MAEM joined a joint volunteer assistance program with the Cancer Institute and Kyiv University of Law.
The International Academy of Ecology and Medicine has launched a joint volunteer assistance program together with the National Cancer Institute (Medical Director — Oleksandr Ivanovych Yatsyna) and the Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine (Rector — Yuriy Ladislavovych Boshytsky).
The goal of the initiative is to unite the efforts of the medical and legal communities to support patients, children with cancer, medical workers and their families, as well as to develop the volunteer movement among students.
The program plans to:
– hold joint campaigns and charity events;
– provide humanitarian and psychological assistance;
– organize training courses for volunteers;
– participate in social projects by students of medical and legal specialties.
Professor Ivan Savytsky, Rector of the IAM, emphasized the importance of such an initiative:
“Volunteering is not only helping others, but also a school of humanity, compassion, and professional responsibility. We are proud that our students are joining a common cause with such reputable partners.”
The cooperation between the IAM, the Cancer Institute, and the KUP will be an example of an effective combination of medicine, law, and civic activism for a common goal — helping those who need it most.
