The educational and methodological department of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) is a structural educational, scientific-methodical, and information-analytical unit of the Academy that plans, organizes, and manages educational and methodological activities, monitors the quality and effectiveness of educational process, accounting and reporting on issues of educational and methodical work, and also provides informational support of the Academy’s activities.

In its activities, the Department is guided by the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education” and other legislative and regulatory acts, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding higher and higher medical education, the Statute of the Academy, orders of the rector and Regulations on the educational and methodical department.

In cooperation with the faculties, departments, and other divisions of the Academy, the main goal is to provide professional training of highly qualified specialists of certain degrees of higher education in specialties 221 Dentistry, 222 Medicine by improving the content of education, introducing the latest learning technologies, strengthening its practical orientation.

The educational and methodological department is directly subordinated to the rector of the Academy and the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and performs managerial and organizational, coordinating, analytical, and controlling functions in matters of educational and methodological work.

MAIN TASKS

• Coordination of activities of structural educational units and working bodies of the Academy of Educational and methodological direction: dean’s office of the medical faculty, departments, Central Methodological Commission;
• Participation in the development of long-term development plans of the Academy;
• Participation in the creation of a comprehensive calendar plan of the Academy’s activities;
• Summing up, analyzing the work, and implementing innovative developments in the educational process, in the educational and methodological work of the medical faculty, departments, and individual units;
• Study of domestic and world experience of higher and higher medical (pharmaceutical) education, and development of recommendations for its implementation;
• Creation of generalized scientific and methodical recommendations to optimize the educational process;
• Organization of work on the opening of new specialties;
• Participation in the renewal and transfer of students;
• Participation in the organization and holding of educational and methodical conferences.
