The Human Resource Department is an independent structural division of the Academy, directly subordinated to the rector.

The main tasks of the Human Resource Department:

  • meeting the need for qualified personnel and their effective use;
  • ensuring compliance in all divisions of the Academy with the principles of personnel selection based on their professional and business qualities in accordance with the requirements of current legislation;
  • forecasting staff development, encouraging employees to work careers;
  • documentation of labor relations.

 

The main functions of the Human Resource Department:

 

  • draws up documents on hiring, transfer, transfer and dismissal of employees, issues them necessary certificates and other work-related documents;
  • ensures compliance in all divisions of the academy with the principles of recruiting personnel based on their professional and business qualities, the implementation of orders and orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the rector of the university regarding recruitment and placement of personnel;
  • fills in, stores, and issues workbooks in accordance with the current instructions;
  • familiarizes employees with the rules of internal labor regulations;
  • ensures record keeping and reporting from personnel, keeps records of orders from personnel;
  • forms and manages personal files of Academy employees, and makes changes to them related to work activities;
  • complies with the requirements of the legislation on personal data;
  • calculates the scientific, scientific and pedagogical experience of the Academy’s teaching staff;
  • calculates the length of service for sick leaves and transfers them to the accounting department for calculation of benefits;
  • submits the documents of the personnel department to the archive of the Academy, according to the nomenclature of cases;
  • on the basis of submitted applications, with the permission of the rector, issues certificates about the current and past work activities of employees;
  • prepares and submits the necessary documents for awarding Academy employees with awards and honors;
  • keeps records in labor books about incentives and rewards for employees;
  • verifies in the timesheet that the name list of employees of structural subdivisions and job titles are filled in according to the staff list;
  • supervises the state of labor discipline in the Academy’s subdivisions and employees’ compliance with the rules of internal labor regulations;
  • informs and advises the heads of the structural units of the Academy on personnel management issues;
  • ensures the preparation of established reporting on personnel accounting and work with personnel;
  • uses mass media to post announcements about the hiring of employees or to announce a competition to fill vacant positions;
  • supervises the development of job instructions in the structural divisions of the Academy;
  • provides information (upon request) to other structural subdivisions of the Academy.

RECENT NEWS

Within the framework of the international INCLUDE ME+ project, the online course “Digital Media for Inclusive Peacebuilding” has been introduced, offering new opportunities for developing digital competences, intercultural dialogue, and inclusive education. The course is designed to promote a modern approach to using digital media as a tool for social change, participation, and peacebuilding.

Thanks to the assistance of the Belgian non-governmental organization "Be for UA", the "International Academy of Ecology and Medicine" and the Charity Foundation "Mercy and Health", a fully equipped resuscitation vehicle was purchased and transferred to the special unit "Artan".
