Department of Internship
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. Specialization (internship) is a mandatory form of post-graduate training for graduates of all faculties of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine (hereinafter the Academy) as a higher medical educational institution of the IV accreditation level, upon completion of which they are awarded the qualification of a specialist doctor in a certain specialty.
1.2. The main task of the internship is to increase the level of practical training of graduates of the Academy as a higher medical educational institution of the IV accreditation level, and their professional readiness for independent medical (pharmacological) activity.
1.3. Internship is conducted in full-time and part-time forms of study at the departments of medicine, stomatology, faculties of the Academy, and internships in basic institutions and health care institutions.
II. ENROLLMENT IN INTERNSHIP
2.1. Graduates of the medical and dental faculties of the Academy and other higher medical educational institutions are admitted to the internship after passing state exams obtaining the qualification of a doctor, and obtaining a diploma in a certain medical specialty.
2.2. Enrollment of young specialists in internships is carried out by order of the Academy. The internship enrollment order indicates the specialty of the internship and the educational institution where the full-time part of the training will be conducted.
2.3. The basis for enrollment in an internship is a doctor’s diploma in a certain medical specialty.
2.4. If a graduate does not start training in an internship by September 1 without valid reasons, he is not allowed to complete an internship. In this case, at the request of the heads of the relevant departments and the head of the internship department of the Academy, he can be enrolled in the internship from the beginning of the next academic year with the permission of the rector of the Academy.
- in the case of being late for internship training due to valid reasons (illness, untimely conclusion of an employment contract by a graduate), he may be extended the period of study for the period of the delay.
III. ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
3.1. Internship training is carried out according to individual curricula developed on the basis of standard curricula and programs after diploma training, in accordance with the Qualification characteristics of specialists in medical specialties, approved by the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 09/20/93 No. 208. “On approval of temporary qualification characteristics specialist doctors”.
3.2. Internship training begins on August 1.
3.2.1. Graduates of higher medical institutions of education who, for valid reasons, are unable to start internship training on August 1 of the current year, are obliged to notify the Academy of non-management by August 15, by submitting the necessary documents, based on the results of their review, a decision is made on admission to internship.
3.2.2. The duration of training in an internship is 1-3 years in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 06.03.1996 No. 50 “On approval of the list of specialties and the period of training in internships for graduates of medical and pharmaceutical higher educational institutions”, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 23.02.2005 No. 81 “On the approval of the List of specialties and the internship period of graduates of medical and pharmaceutical higher educational institutions, medical faculties of universities”, Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 21.11.2005 No. 621 “On amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 23.02.2005 No. 81”, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 26.02.2007 No. 93 “On amendments and additions to the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 23.02.2005 No. 81”, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 10.12.2007 No. 793 “On amendments and additions to the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated February 23, 2005 No. 81”
3.2.3. The duration of the full-time part of internship training at University departments and internships in basic institutions and health care institutions is regulated by the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 06.03.1996 No. 50 “On approval of the list of specialties and terms of internship training for graduates of medical and pharmaceutical higher educational institutions” , Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 23.02.2005 No. 81 “On Approval of the List of Specialties and Periods of Internship of Graduates of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Education Institutions, Medical Faculties of Universities”, Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 621 dated November 21, 2005 “On Introduction of amendments to the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 23.02.2005 No. 81”, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 26.02.2007 No. 93 “On amendments and additions to the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 23.02.2005 No. 81”, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 12/10/2007 No. 793 “On Amendments and Supplements to the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 81 dated 23.02.2005”, educational plans and internship programs.
3.2.4. The organization, general management of the educational process in the internship, and control over its implementation are entrusted to the vice-rector for educational and methodological work and post-graduate education, the head of the internship department, and the heads of the relevant departments of the Academy.
3.3. Internship Department of the Academy:
3.3.1. Accepts documents for training in an internship, keeps records of documentation and reports on internships, and supervises the maintenance of necessary documentation at departments, internship bases, and intern doctors. Duplicates and sends training plans and programs, educational and methodical materials, and necessary documentation (1 form of individual training plans, diaries, record books, etc.) to the internship bases for doctors – interns and their supervisors at the internship bases.
3.3.2. Coordinates the activities of specialized departments in the organization and conduct of internships.
3.3.3. Ensures mutual communication in the work of specialized departments and internship bases; analyzes, summarizes materials, and makes suggestions for improving the organization and training of specialists in the internship.
3.3.4. Informs the leadership of the Academy and the heads of the relevant departments about the number of doctors, indicating the specialty, who will undergo internship training in the current academic year.
3.3.5. Participates in the planning of measures to improve the level of training of specialists in the internship for the academic year and monitors their implementation.
3.3.6. Participates in conducting scientific and practical events for doctors-interns.
3.3.7. Participates in the final control and attestation of doctors-interns to determine knowledge and practical skills with the award of the title of doctor-specialist.
3.3.8. He hears annually at the meetings of the academic councils of the University’s faculties the results of the attestation of intern doctors, heads of relevant departments and chief doctors of institutions that are training bases, internship managers about their work on improving the practical training of University graduates and increasing the effectiveness of internships.
3.3.9. Participates in the preparation of the rector’s annual report “On the activities of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine”.
3.3.10. It is a member of the permanent methodological commission, which is created by the rector of the University, with the aim of coordinating the work of specialized departments of the Academy and health care institutions for the training of specialists in internships, solving issues of planning, organization, teaching methods at departments and at internship bases. The vice-rector for educational and methodological work and post-graduate education is appointed as the head of this commission.
3.3.11. The annual report of the Academy to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the state of the organization and implementation of the internship is being prepared.
3.4. Vice-rector for educational and methodological work and post-graduate education of the Academy:
3.4.1. Participates in the development and implementation of organizational measures for the training of doctors – interns of the relevant specialty at internship bases.
3.4.2. Together with the head of the internship department, he selects internship bases, assigns doctors-interns to internship bases, and determines the procedure for completing internships.
3.4.3. Together with the specialized departments of the Academy, he carries out regular inspections of internships, measures to eliminate deficiencies identified in the training of doctors-interns, and makes suggestions for improving internships.
3.4.4. He is the head of the attestation commission in conducting the final control and attestation of intern doctors.
3.4.5. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine approves the annual report of the academy on the organization and conduct of the internship at the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine.
3.5. Training bases for intern doctors:
3.5.1. Training centers for intern doctors are basic institutions and healthcare facilities that are used for the purpose of primary specialization of graduates of the Academy. These can be regional, city, and central district hospitals, city and regional children’s hospitals, maternity homes, dispensaries, hospitals subordinated to other departments, clinics of scientific research institutes, diagnostic centers that have structural subdivisions in their composition, in which training is provided by educational plan and internship program in the relevant specialty.
3.5.2. The training courses for intern doctors must meet the following requirements:
- have in its composition medical and diagnostic departments, laboratory and diagnostic rooms, other production units, and training of interns which is provided for by the curriculum and internship program in a certain specialty;
- to be provided with medical equipment, apparatus, and instruments.
- necessary for carrying out diagnostic, treatment, at the modern level and in accordance with the tasks of this institution or institution;
- to be able to provide doctors – and interns with workplaces and the scope of work in accordance with the requirements of training plans and internship programs in a certain specialty;
- to have training rooms for doctors – interns, equipped with the necessary teaching and methodical aids, tables, mock-ups, stands, modern technical teaching aids, etc.
3.6. The chief physician of the basic health care institution (facility):
3.6.1. Takes measures to increase the level of diagnostic and treatment work in the basic institution or health care institution, providing them with everything necessary in accordance with the requirements for the internship base of doctors – interns.
3.6.2. Ensures the familiarization of intern doctors with the areas of activity of the base institution (institution, enterprise), population service area, internal labor regulations, occupational health and safety rules, rights and responsibilities of intern doctors, etc.
3.6.3. Together with the head of the specialized department, he approves individual training plans for doctors in the internship, developed on the basis of standard training plans and programs.
3.6.4. Ensures involvement of intern doctors to participate in mass cultural, sports, and sanitary-educational work.
3.6.5. Annually, at the meeting of the medical board (labor team), the state of internship of doctors-interns and the fulfillment of the Academy’s tasks and recommendations on improving the work of the base of internship of doctors-interns are discussed.
3.6.6. On the basis of the Academy’s order, dispatches doctors – interns to the Academy for the full-time part of training.
3.6.7. For the planning and implementation of organizational and methodical measures, the current control over their implementation may appoint a person responsible for the general management of doctors – interns on the basis of the internship.
3.7. Responsible for the internship based on the internship:
3.7.1. Organizes the training of intern doctors in accordance with standard curricula and programs, working in close cooperation with the internship department, specialized departments of the Academy,
3.7.2. Compiles the work schedule of intern doctors in specialized departments and other structural divisions of the internship base in accordance with the individual training plans of intern doctors/pharmacists.
3.7.3. Together with the teachers of the specialized departments of the Academy, he familiarizes the managers of doctors – interns at internship bases with the requirements of educational plans and programs and provides them with the necessary programs and methodical materials for the internship.
3.7.4. Involves intern doctors to actively participate in clinical, pathological-anatomical, and scientific-practical conferences held at the base institution.
3.7.5. Systematically supervises the work of supervisors of intern doctors at training bases, participates in the acceptance of credits provided for in the program, and takes measures to improve professional training in the internship.
3.7.6. Prepares materials for the board of the health care institution (facility) on training of intern doctors.
3.8. Manager of doctors – interns on the basis of internship:
3.8.1. Appointed by the order of the head of the internship base from among specialists of the highest or first qualification category (mainly the head of a specialized department) with a calculation of no more than 7 intern doctors per head.
3.8.2. At the beginning of the internship, the level of knowledge and skills of intern doctors is determined, the results of which are taken into account when drawing up individual training plans for their training.
3.8.3. Together with the teacher of the specialized department of the higher education institution, the internship department draws up an individual training plan for the training of a doctor-intern based on the standard curriculum and program and submits it to the head of the internship base and the head of the specialized department for approval.
3.8.4. It provides conditions for the implementation of individual training plans by doctors – interns.
3.8.5. Involves intern doctors in systematic active participation in diagnostic and treatment work, the performance of all types of activities provided for by the requirements of qualification characteristics, and individual training plans of intern doctors.
3.8.6. Creates appropriate conditions for the acquisition of the necessary skills, professional knowledge, and practical skills by intern doctors and supervises the implementation of individual training programs for intern doctors.
3.8.7. He conducts planned and thematic clinical rounds with doctors – interns, analysis of disease histories and other accounting and reporting documents, interviews, seminars, and practical classes to acquire practical skills provided for in the individual curriculum.
3.8.8. Monitors and is responsible for the independent medical activity of intern doctors and the quality of their official documentation, and participates in the final control.
3.8.9. Conducts individual educational work with doctors – interns instill in them respect for work colleagues, principles of medical ethics, and deontology.
3.8.10. Systematically improves his professional level and pedagogical skill, maintains constant contact with the professor-teaching staff of the specialized department, and participates in the work of educational and methodical conferences for internship leaders held by the Academy.
3.9. Academy:
3.9.1. It provides internship bases with methodical and advisory assistance on the training of specialists in internships.
3.9.2. Acquaints intern doctors with the Regulation on specialization (internship) of higher medical and pharmaceutical educational institutions of the Sh-IU of accreditation levels, with the rights and obligations of intern doctors, monitors the arrival of graduates at internship bases.
3.9.3. Appoints specialized departments and those responsible for internship training in a certain specialty and provides methodical and advisory assistance to internship bases.
3.9.4. Provides training at departments in accordance with curricula and internship programs. Develops educational and methodological recommendations on internships and sends them for implementation to departments and internship bases.
3.9.5. The number of teaching positions in higher education institutions is determined by calculating one teacher for 5 average annual medical interns.
3.9.6. Organizes scientific-practical and educational-methodical conferences for intern doctors and their supervisors.
3.9.7. Issues an order on the composition of the attestation commission for determining knowledge and practical skills by assigning the title of doctor-specialist with the appointment of the chairman of the commission in the order.
3.9.8. Every year, at the meetings of the Academic Council of the Academy, the issues of training specialists in internships are discussed.
3.10. Profile departments of the Academy:
3.10.1. Provide training of interns at the departments in accordance with this Regulation on the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions.
3.10.2. Involve doctors – interns to participate in various forms of work in the clinic (laboratory) of the department; rounds of the head of the department, professors and associate professors, consortiums, clinical and thematic discussions of patients, clinical, clinical-pathological-anatomical and scientific-practical conferences, production processes, etc.
3.10.3. They carry out regular control over the work of internship bases of doctors – interns. Systematically inform the managers of internship bases, and inform the internship department about the organization and quality of practical training of intern doctors in order to take appropriate measures aimed at improving their training.
3.10.4. Training manuals are being developed for intern doctors and intern supervisors at internship bases.
3.10.5. They control the level of training of intern doctors at the end of the training cycle at the department and necessarily participate in the attestation of intern doctors.
3.10.6. Within 3 days after the completion of training and certification of intern doctors, a report on educational work with intern doctors/pharmacists, methodical and advisory assistance on an internship basis, and analysis of the results of intern doctor certification is submitted to the internship department.
3.11. Research work of intern doctors (NDRI):
3.11.1. NDRI ensures the acquisition of skills of independent work with scientific literature, forms the ability to analyze and generalize material, develop clinical (hygienic) thinking, free expression of one’s thoughts, and critical understanding of literature data.
3.11.2. For NDRI, the analysis of data obtained by additional methods of examination of patients, reports and scientific and practical analysis of the activity of polyclinic and inpatient departments, specialized services, comparative analysis of indicators of the activity of health care institutions (institutions) with the same indicators for past years can be used. with averages for the city, region, and country, NDRI includes literature and patent search, and assimilation of special methods.
3.11.3. The topic of research is defined by the NDRI plan drawn up by an intern doctor together with a teacher of the department, taking into account the real possibilities of implementation to the conditions of study at the department of a higher educational institution and on the basis of the internship.
3.11.4. The results of NDRI doctors-interns report at scientific and practical conferences and are taken into account during the attestation of doctors-interns. Based on the results of the research work of the intern doctors, the scientific council of the Academy can provide a recommendation to the intern doctor to enter the clinical residency after the internship without the necessary experience of practical work.
IV. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF INTERNS
4.1. Administratively, intern doctors are subordinate to the relevant departments, the internship department, and the rectorate of the University.
4.2. During an internship at a basic health care facility (institution), an intern doctor works under the supervision of a physician appointed by his immediate supervisor, and during the full-time part of training at the Academy’s department under the supervision of a teacher assigned to him.
4.3. Internal labor regulations of the Academy apply to doctors – and interns during the full-time part of training at the department, during the internship – internal labor regulations are established for employees of this healthcare institution (institution).
4.4. Doctors – interns have the right to:
- to use laboratories, offices, classrooms, reading rooms, libraries, and other educational and auxiliary units of the academy;
- to participate in production meetings of the departments in discussing issues of improving the educational process and other issues related to the training and daily life of intern doctors;
- to provide accommodation in a rented dormitory of the Academy during studies at the department (with payment according to existing tariffs) and in a dormitory of a health care institution (institution) during the internship.
4.5. Doctors – interns are obliged to:
- acquire, deepen, and improve professional knowledge, skills, and abilities;
- fully and timely implement the curriculum and internship program;
- to comply with the rules of internal labor regulations in health care institutions and institutions, rules for living in dormitories, and rules of internal labor regulations in higher education institutions.
V. CONTROL MEASURES
5.1. In order to check the assimilation of the sections of the curriculum by the interns, and the acquisition of relevant practical skills, an interim (half-yearly) control is carried out on the basis of the internship.
5.2. The final control is carried out at the end of the training cycle on the basis of internship before sending the doctor-intern to the full-time part of training at the University department. The composition and work schedule of the commission is approved by a joint order of the chief physician of the basic healthcare institution and the rector of the University. The committee includes the person responsible for the internship based on the internship (head), the direct supervisors of the intern doctors, and, if possible, the teachers of the specialized departments of the University.
5.3. In the case of 1.5-2-year training in an internship, the final half-yearly (annual) control is also carried out at the end of the first cycle of the full-time part of training at the Academy’s department,
5.4. Final control includes:
verification of the professional practical training of the doctor/pharmacist-intern according to the plan and program;
test control of knowledge and skills;

The practical part of the final control of knowledge by doctors – interns of individual profiles can be started in advance by the participation of intern doctors in operations, childbirth, clinical, instrumental, sanitary-epidemiological examinations, production processes, etc., in the presence of a teacher,
5.5. Doctors – interns who are not certified according to the results of the final control or did not appear for it without valid reasons, are obliged to undergo the final control within the terms agreed with the internship department, but no later than two months after the beginning of the new academic year.
5.6. The rector of the Academy decides on the possibility (expediency) of continuing training in the internship of persons who are not certified during the repeated final inspection, upon the submission of the relevant departments and the internship department. Uncertified persons are subject to dismissal from the internship upon the order of the rector of the Academy.
5.7. At the end of the training period in the internship, doctors-interns are subject to certification to determine knowledge and practical skills with the award of the title of doctor-specialist in a specific specialty in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated November 21, 1991 No. 168 “On further improvement of the certification of doctors”, dated June 9, 1993. No. 130 “On amendments and additions to the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 21.11.91 No. 168 “On further improvement of the certification of doctors” and dated 06.01.95 No. 97 “On amendments and additions to the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 21.11.91 r. No. 168 “On further improvement of the certification of doctors”, dated 19.12.1997. No. 359 “On the further improvement of the certification of doctors {With changes introduced in accordance with the Orders of the Ministry of Health No. 01 dated 05.10.2000, No. 218 dated 09.14.2000, No. 373 dated 10.28.2002, No. 221 dated 05.19.2003, No. 650 dated 02.10.2015}”.
5.8. Attestation commissions are established annually by order of the rector of the Academy to carry out attestation. Highly qualified and experienced specialists are appointed as heads of attestation commissions. The composition of the commission and the schedule of the attestation are approved by the rector of the Academy no later than one month before the start of the attestation. Members of the attestation commissions include vice-rectors for educational and medical work, the dean of the faculty, the head of the internship department (or his deputy), heads of departments, professors and associate professors of specialized departments of the Academy, professors and associate professors of other higher education institutions and research institutions, employees of trade union bodies, associations, doctors, etc.
5.9. The action of attestation to determine knowledge and practical skills with the assignment of the title of doctor-specialist to the commission no later than a week before the start of its meeting, the following documents and materials are submitted:
- characteristics from the administration of the basic health care institution (institution) in which the intern doctor underwent internship;
- record book;
- work accounting diary of Lee Karya-interna.
5.10. Intern doctors who have fully completed the training plan and the internship program and passed the final inspection for the previous internship training in the relevant specialty are admitted to the attestation to determine knowledge and practical skills with the title of doctor-specialist. Completion of the curriculum and program is certified by credit information, which is submitted by specialized and related departments of the Academy to the internship department no later than a week before the start of certification. The admission of intern doctors to the attestation to determine knowledge and practical skills and the awarding of the title of specialist doctor is issued by the order of the rector of the Academy.
5.11. Organization and certification of intern doctors to determine knowledge and practical skills:
5.11.1. Certification of intern doctors includes:
- control of knowledge and skills according to computer testing programs approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
- assessment by the attestation commission of knowledge and skills, including possession of practical skills;
- an interview or another form of final assessment of the level of assimilation of the training program of the internship.
5.11.2. Computer control of knowledge and skills is carried out in the computer classroom of the Academy using test computer programs for relevant specialties approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in the presence of members of the certification commission. Evaluation of the training of intern doctors based on the results of computer testing is carried out according to the binary system: “certified”, and “not certified”. An intern doctor who has at least 80.5% of correct answers is considered certified. In case of negative results of the computer test control, the intern doctor is considered to be the one whose level of training does not meet the requirements of the qualification characteristics of the doctor of the relevant specialty. In this case, the intern doctor is not allowed to further stages of attestation and is considered not attested.
5.11.3. When assessing the skills and possession of practical skills, doctors-medical interns are subject to mandatory control of the ability to conduct an examination of a patient, interpret the results of auxiliary research, conduct a differential diagnosis, make a clinical diagnosis, prescribe treatment for a specific patient, provide emergency care (including cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a simulator), to solve the issue of the examination of working capacity. Control of the acquisition of practical skills by doctors-interns of surgical specialties is carried out in advance, during operations, medical manipulations in the presence of members of the certification commission, and by analyzing the professional activity of the doctor-intern during the internship. In the event of an unsatisfactory assessment of skills and mastery of practical skills, the intern doctor is considered to have not mastered the practical skills provided for in the training program and does not meet the requirements of the qualification characteristics of a specialist doctor in terms of the level of training. In this case, the intern doctor is not admitted to the further stages of attestation and is considered not attested.
5.11.4. An interview or other form of final assessment of the level of assimilation of the training program of the internship is conducted with each intern doctor (by ticket or non-ticket method). Based on the results of the interview, taking into account the evaluations of the previous stages, a decision is made about the level of training of the intern doctor and assigning him the title of doctor-specialist in a certain specialty,
5.11.5. Based on the results of the attestation, the attestation commission can make a decision:
- assign the title of doctor – specialist in the relevant specialty;
- refuse to assign the title of specialist doctor. The decision is made by open voting. In case of an equal number of votes, the vote of the head of the certification commission is decisive. The results of the attestation are brought to the attention of intern doctors immediately after the end of the commission meeting. The results of the attestation are formalized in a protocol, which is signed by the chairman and all members of the attestation commission and approved by the order of the Academy, which created the commission, within ten days.
5.11.6. A person who, based on the results of an attestation to determine knowledge and practical skills, has been awarded the title of doctor – a specialist in a specific specialty, is issued by the Academy a certificate of the established model of the appendix to the orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 21.11.91 No. 168 “On further improvement of the attestation of doctors, and a person who has been refused in this, an extract from the protocol of the meeting of the commission, certified by the seal of the Academy, no later than three days from the moment of approval of the protocol of the meeting of the certification commission.
5.11.7. The term of validity of the doctor-specialist certificate is set for 5 years – until the next attestation for the qualification category after passing the relevant pre-attestation cycle of training at the department of the higher educational institution. Doctors who do not wish to be certified for the qualification category 5 years after receiving the doctor-specialist certificate, must be certified to confirm the title of a specialist doctor after completing training in a cycle of professional development at the department of a higher educational institution in the relevant specialty. If the title of specialist doctor is not confirmed or if the qualification category is not certified, 5 years after receiving the specialist doctor certificate, this person is transferred to the position of trainee doctor. Re-attestation to confirm the title of specialist doctor can be carried out no earlier than one year after the transfer to the position of trainee doctor
5.11.8. The decision of the attestation commission can be appealed within a two-week period from the moment of providing an extract from the minutes of the attestation commission meeting. According to the decision of the rectorate of the Academy, an intern doctor can be recertified by the certification commission of another educational institution.
5.11.9. The meeting of the attestation commission in individual cases, with the agreement of the rector of the Academy, may be held outside and be held at internship bases.
5.11.10. The possibility of re-attestation to determine knowledge and practical skills with the award of the title of doctor-specialist can be granted to an intern doctor once within three years, but not earlier than one year after the refusal to award the title of doctor-specialist, in accordance with the Regulations on the Organization of Educational Training process in higher educational institutions.
VI. TRANSFER, DISMISSAL AND RENEWAL IN INTERNSHIP
6.1. The transfer of an intern doctor from one of your educational institutions to another is carried out with the permission and consent of the rector of the Academy, to whose disposal he was sent and transferred for training. To the higher education institution at the place of transfer, the doctor-intern submits a record book, certified by the seal of the higher education institution from which he is transferred, a diary, signed by the head of the internship and certified by the higher education institution and the head of the health care institution (institution) – internship base, individual curriculum with a note on the progress of its implementation.
6.2. The transfer of a doctor-intern from one internship base to another is carried out with the consent of the rectorate of the Academy, on the basis of which the training of a doctor-intern is conducted at the department. To the internship base, where the doctor-intern is transferred, he adds an extract from the order of the rector of the Academy, from which internship base he is transferred, the diary of the doctor-intern, and an individual study plan with a note on the progress of its implementation.

6.3. Deduction from the internship is carried out:
- for non-fulfillment of the curriculum and program;
- for violation of internal labor regulations;
- for missing classes (including for valid reasons, if the intern doctor missed more than a third of the classes at the department);
- due to incapacity for work, if according to the conclusion of the medical and Advisory Commission (JTKK) or the Medical and social expert commission (MSEK) the incapacity of the doctor-intern to work as a doctor is determined. The withdrawal of a doctor-intern from the cycle of the full-time part of training at the Academy’s departments is carried out by order of the rector. Deductions from the internship are carried out by the order of the rector of the Academy upon the submission of the relevant departments of the Academy or the administration of the internship base and the submission of the head of the internship department.
6.4. Renewal of the internship is allowed for persons who were dismissed from the internship for good reasons (due to health) and is carried out on the basis of a written application addressed to the rector of the Academy in agreement with the heads of the relevant departments and the head of the internship department. Reinstatement of persons who were dismissed from the internship for violation of the rules of internal labor regulations and non-fulfillment of the curriculum and program (without valid reasons) is carried out in accordance with the order of the rector of the Academy.
6.5. A change of specialty during an internship can be carried out:
- due to incapacity, if according to the conclusion of JIKK or MSEK, it is determined that the intern doctor is incapacitated for the internship in this specialty;
- due to production necessity, which requires the consent of the intern doctor. The change of specialty in the internship is carried out by order of the rector of the academy in agreement with the heads of the relevant departments, the vice-rector for educational and methodological work and postgraduate education, and the head of the internship department.
VII. FINANCIAL SECURITY OF THE INTERNSHIP
7.1. Internships by doctors are paid and are carried out under the terms of contracts concluded between the Academy and legal entities/individuals who will finance internship training.
7.2. Payment for supervision of the training of intern doctors is made to their supervisors in accordance with current legislation.
7.3. For the period of the internship, doctors-interns are provided with living space (dormitory type) of those institutions on the basis of which their training is carried out, with payment in accordance with the existing tariffs. In the absence of a dormitory, the institution (institution) has the right to rent living space for intern doctors from other departments or to hire it from private individuals with reimbursement of actual expenses at the expense of intern doctors in the amount of the fee established by the current legislation, and the rest – at the expense of this institution (institution).
