IAEM graduate Prof. Lukasz Szarpak (Poland) launched tactical medicine trainings for everyone

The International Academy of Ecology and Medicine (MAEM) is proud to announce that regular tactical medicine trainings have been initiated at the academy by MAEM graduate — Professor Łukasz Szarpak (Poland), a renowned specialist in emergency care and disaster medicine.

The goal of the trainings is to provide practical knowledge and skills necessary for providing pre-hospital care in emergency situations, particularly in combat conditions, natural disasters, or accidents.

During the trainings, participants learn to:
work according to the MARCH algorithm;
apply tourniquets, bandages, hemostatics and other tactical medical kit tools;

 evacuate casualties from dangerous areas;

 organize assistance in field conditions with minimal resources.

Professor Łukasz Szarpak emphasizes:

“Tactical medicine is not only for military personnel. This is knowledge that everyone can and should have — doctors, students, or simply caring people. Lives depend on these skills.”

Trainings are open to all interested!
Students, interns, teachers, medical workers, as well as everyone who wants to learn to act effectively in extreme conditions can participate.

Venue: MAEM training center

Format: practical group sessions

Participants receive a certificate for completing the tactical medicine fundamentals course.

This initiative has become an example of international cooperation between Ukraine and Poland and another step in developing the practical component of training future medical professionals.

The International Academy of Ecology and Medicine continues to support programs that promote competency enhancement, readiness to act in crisis situations, and development of civic responsibility.
