The contract department of the PHEI “IAEM” (hereinafter – the Academy) organizes the proper and effective contractual work of the academy in accordance with the Regulation on the contractual department at the “International Academy of Ecology and Medicine” (hereinafter – the Department) establishes the basic requirements for preparation, processing in structural units, visas and storage of contracts that are created in the course of the activities of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the Academy).

The department is headed by the head of the department, who is appointed and dismissed by order of the rector of the Academy at the request of the vice-rector for organizational and legal issues. In his work, the head of the department reports to the rector of the Academy and the vice-rector for organizational and legal issues. The Head of the Department carries out organizational, administrative, controllin, and advisory activities, in accordance with the job description approved by the rector.

For this purpose:

• conducts a legal analysis of the draft contracts prepared by the structural units of the Academy, and approves (endorses) them in the presence of visas of the heads of the interested structural units or persons replacing them. In the case of detection of inconsistency of the draft act or other document with the requirements of the legislation, submits to the interested structural unit motivated proposals to bring it into compliance with the legislation;
• organizes work related to the conclusion of agreements (contracts), participates in their preparation and implementation control, and evaluates projects of such agreements (contracts).
• plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements activities related to the fulfillment of the Academy’s obligations under the concluded contracts.
• ensures accounting, registration, and storage of contracts concluded by the Academy (protocol of the meeting of the Academic Council No. 1 dated August 30, 2017, developed and approved by the Academic Council of the Academy)
• participates in ensuring the protection of property rights and legal interests of the Academy in case of non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• participates in the monitoring of the performance of contracts by the Academy and its counterparties.
• takes measures to coordinate the actions of the structural units of the Academy during the conclusion of contracts.
• takes part in the development of agreements, work programs, and projects with partners, and coordinators of the recruitment of foreign students, monitoring their implementation.
• organization of reception of foreign delegations that come for the purpose of establishing and developing business and scientific cooperation with the Academy.
• carries out other measures stipulated by the current legislation and internal documents of the Academy.
