International Activity Management
International Activity Management
International activity management at the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine (MAEM) is carried out in accordance with the Internationalization Strategy and the Academy’s overall development strategy. International activity is an integral part of institutional development, aimed at integrating MAEM into the global educational and scientific space, improving the quality of education, strengthening international reputation, and expanding opportunities for students, teachers, and researchers.
Management Structure
Coordination of international activity is carried out at the Academy leadership level under the guidance of the Vice-Rector for International Relations, who is responsible for strategic planning, partnership development, participation in international programs, and quality control of international initiatives implementation.
Vice-Rector for International Relations:
- ensures the implementation of internationalization policy in all Academy departments;
- coordinates activities regarding the conclusion and execution of international agreements;
- represents the Academy in international associations, networks, and partnership structures;
- provides strategic management of student and staff academic mobility programs;
- coordinates work with foreign partners at the leadership level;
- ensures compliance with international standards in education and science.
Coordinated Interaction
International activity is implemented in close cooperation:
- with educational and scientific institutes and departments — in matters of academic mobility, development of joint programs and projects;
- with departments ensuring education quality, educational process, and scientific work — for integrating international components into learning and research;
- with administrative structures — in matters of legal, financial, visa, and organizational support.
Strategic Directions of International Development
- expanding international partnerships and concluding new agreements;
- developing joint educational programs, including double degrees;
- ensuring international academic mobility of students, teachers, and researchers;
- participating in international educational and scientific programs (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, etc.);
- integrating foreign students and developing English-language environment;
- strengthening the Academy’s international visibility and reputation.
Thus, international activity management at MAEM is based on a clear vertical of strategic leadership, effective coordination of structural units, and implementation of European and international standards in all areas of the Academy’s activity.
