Internationalization

Internationalization

The International Academy of Ecology and Medicine strives to become a center of education and research, open to students, teachers, and partners from around the world. Internationalization is defined in the Academy’s Development Strategy as one of the key directions that allows integrating advanced international experience, improving the quality of education, maintaining cultural diversity, and expanding opportunities for students and teachers. In accordance with the MAEM Internationalization Strategy, the Academy implements a comprehensive approach to internationalization that covers all aspects of its activities – from educational programs and scientific research to academic mobility and partnerships.

Forms of Internationalization at MAEM

🌍

International Agreements

International educational programs and projects: participation in international academic cooperation programs and grants (such as Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe) that expand educational opportunities and integrate the Academy into the global educational space.

🎓

Academic Mobility

Academic mobility of students and teachers: support for exchange programs and internships abroad that allow students to study and teachers to teach or undergo professional development in foreign institutions. Coordination of international visits, student exchanges, and internships promotes professional growth of participants and knowledge exchange.

🌐

Double Degrees

International agreements and partnerships: concluding bilateral agreements with foreign universities, clinics, and research institutions to implement joint projects. Such partnerships include cooperation in research programs, student and teacher exchanges, and development of mobility programs.

Teaching in Foreign Languages

Teaching in foreign languages: expanding the list of disciplines taught in English and other foreign languages to integrate global standards into the educational process and facilitate academic mobility of students. This allows attracting foreign students and ensures graduates’ competitiveness in the international labor market.

📈

Research Projects

Attracting foreign students and teachers: active recruitment work to attract applicants from abroad and expand the geography of the Academy’s student body. Currently, MAEM students come from over 30 countries worldwide, creating a multicultural educational environment. Simultaneously, the Academy invites foreign teachers and visiting professors to give lectures, conduct seminars and master classes so that students and teachers can learn from the best international experience.
